Northern Downpour

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Northern Downpour is the the third single from Panic at the Disco's second album, Pretty. Odd. Ryan Ross sings with Brendon Urie in the song, and also composed the song himself.

According to reports, "Northern Downpour" will have a music video with Brendon Urie talking about single life. Ryan Ross has also confirmed that the song is about Brendon's failed relationship with a girl, from personal experience.

The music video is expected to begin shooting sometime in early July 2008. It is expected to have a plot following the lead singer, Brendon Urie, as he writes on walls in a broken down house while the band plays outside. Brendon stops and picks up a camera to reveal the writing on the walls about his relationship with a girl and how he is better off without her. The camera cuts throughout the video, showing various scenes including Brendon and a girl laughing and joking, and Brendon alone on tour while the girl makes out with another guy.

At the end Ryan Ross lights a match and sets the home on fire as Brendon puts pictures of himself and the girl on the wall and climbs out through a window.

MTV has confirmed that video will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada and focus mainly on Brendon Urie and his forwardness with his newly single life.
