what if I had never known MGMT?

You may have seen me tweeted these, but I'll write the long version.

I wonder what my life would have been if I had never known MGMT.
I wonder what my life would have turned out if I (along with my best buddy, Nunki) had never seen Flash Delirium music video on MTV for the first time, on one September day 2010.

First of all, I wouldn't have searched any information about Andrew VanWyngarden on Google.
Then I wouldn't have tried to improve my sketching skill EVER, since Andrew was the first sketch I ever made.
I would have cared less about Beatfest at all and would have probably gone to Love Garage instead.
I wouldn't have met that *cute* Aksara staff to buy Beatfest ticket (and then swoon over him for days).
I wouldn't have met new amazing friends on Twitter.
I wouldn't have determined to get a scholarship to study abroad... to Wesleyan, specifically.
That handmade bracelet would have stayed in the cabinet forever, since I didn't give it to anyone.
I wouldn't have bought Congratulations CD and tought about buying Oracular Spectacular.
I would have NEVER been to Bengkel Night Park because it was too fancy for me.
I wouldn't have recognize the other three amazing people: Matt, James, and of course Will!
I wouldn't have tried so hard to win a meet & greet session with them.
I would have spent March 26 at home, watching Psych all day long.
I wouldn't have been partying and dancing and singing out loud with other hundreds people that night.
I wouldn't have tried to improve my photography skill and made a photoblog.
And I would have missed their performance on MTV World Stage.

Bottom line, MGMT has changed my life so far. They're now important parts of my life, and I'm very grateful for it.
