I am going away from twitter for a while. Reading the responses to the news is mindblowing to me. Celebrating the killing of a person? Acting as if we are innocent and haven't done equally fucked up shit if not even worse? Do you all really believe that we have no part to play in this? I am sickened by what some of you are saying and it makes me sad and angry.
Tomo Milicevic just posted it on his twitter account a few minutes ago, referring to Osama Bin Laden's death (I changed the caps into "normal" case to lower down the tone :p).
Reading it, I couldn't agree more. I mean, sure Osama brought terror to all of you, American citizens. Well maybe even to all of us. But isn't celebrating someone's death a bit... I don't know, cruel? Even more cruel than what he did?
I apologize if you find this post offensive. I'm just a regular citizen, trying to write my statement. Correct me if I'm wrong.
